The Ordinary

so now that it has been publicly named, I can blog a bit about The Ordinary, but not too much.  This is a huge project for us and an honor to work with Mike and Adam from FIG, again,  as well as the team of Fuzzco, Urban Electric Company, Urban ReNew, Next Step Design and my engineering crew.

The Kickin' Chicken - West Ashley

DTA is working to upgrade another Kickin' Chicken.  The interior scope is limited but we are giving the exterior a fairly thorough facelift and repairing some waterproofing issues.  We received DRB approval last week to proceed with construction asap.

King Charles Inn, Charleston SC

The King Charles Inn on Meeting St, (caddy corner to FIG) has hired us to re-work some of their interior public spaces as well as to design a new entry canopy.  The design received Conceptual approval from BAR on Wednesday night.  We are collaborating on the design with Rick and Peyton Avrett as well as our structural engineer Jason Broadway.

Craftsmen Kitchen & Taphouse

We have broken ground on construction for Craftsmen Kitchen & Taphouse.  The location is the Old Johnson's Pub on Cumberland St., (Charleston SC).  The renovations include two new bars, all new finishes and fixtures, total bathroom renovations and freshening up the patio.  We are working with our long time collaborator David Willis of Southeastern Construction.

Last week was an open house for the media where the Owners - Todd and Philip, myself and craftsman Michael Moran walked the press through the space.
